BIOGRAPHY

I started out in music playing guitar, teaching audio production and having worked independently in studios.  I am an audio engineer, producer and educator.  Some highlights throughout my career include working with Grammy nominated Engineer Glenn Suravech on projects for Jesse Acuna and Grammy performing artists like Taiko Project.  I have also assisted as an Engineer 2 (E2) on sessions for Emmy nominated Orchestrator/Jazz Band Conductor Peter T. Myers produced by Emmy/Osar winning composer Bill Conti.  This coming year I will be doing some mixing for Gold & Platinum Recording Artist - James Sampson.  However, my most rewarding work is to help young up and coming artists and producers such as Andrew Faust, Arnold Monroy Pena, Aryan Hajzavar, LuisG, Soba Ndife and many more with their projects.

I am an Avid certified instructor for Pro Tools.  My teaching experience includes teaching audio production and music technology courses for: Cypress College, Riverside City College, Cal Poly Pomona Technical University, The University of La Verne, SAE Institute and Los Angeles Recording School (in affiliation with the Los Angeles Film School) where I currently teach as a full-time faculty instructor.

I am a current active member of the Audio Engineers Society (AES), the Producer/Engineers Wing of the Grammys, and National Association of Music Merchandisers (NAMM).  I also play guitar and write music in variety of styles - rock, blues, jazz.  When I am not working in the studio, teaching or performing I enjoy playing with my pets and hiking the mountains and beaches around Southern California with my wife.
